5 weeks in Panama passed like water and I look forward to the best company for the next trip :) but now back to Panama! This, not much-visited country, has everything what traveler/adventurer can desire. Mountains, beaches and wilderness ... I was surprised by the price tags. Panama is inexpensive, in Czech terms, really is not, and especially accommodation on the other hand, renting a car and gasoline are very cheap here.Do not hesitate to drive, the quality of the roads is abnormally good, unless you choose a good-natured detour like me. In terms of traffic, Panama City is crazy, but not as much as Asia. Outside the city, it's all well. Just be careful because the locals do not know the indicators yet. If you did not dare to do your car, shuttle bus and public transport work very well here.

Another surprise was the 'size' of locals. I've been expecting tanned and beautiful bodies, but I was far from reality. I would say that 90% of the population is overweight and 70% obesity. Unfortunately, there is no wonder, you can find fast food on every corner, unlike some street or local food, which was really disappointing.

Shorts or topless sunbathing are unreal here. Otherwise, the Panamanians are warm and willing people, everything keeps them busy, but who will hurry here. They use dollars, you do not need vaccinations and the streets are safe! English is still a foreign language here, so the basics of Spanish are good, or you can go for courses in Casco Antiguo.

Must see in Panama: 1. View of the Panama Canal. There are several ways to see this unique one, I recommend the agency www.barefootpanama.com

2. Visiting Casco Viejo, the oldest and most overpriced quarter in Panama City. It is definitely worth exploring, but you can buy souvenirs elsewhere

3. Hard Rock Hotel offers a perfect pool, restaurant and city views

4. The island of Taboga (from Panama City you can get there by ferry, it takes 30min and costs 20usd)

5. Santa Catalina Beach. It's a little detour, but that trip is worth it. Beautiful views of the region and the beach itself is a surfer paradise and really is what to watch

6. The islands of Bocas Del Toro, I can not comment, you just have to see

7. Las Lajas is like arriving in Australia, no one speaks English :) plains where hundreds of horses and cows are lined with monstrous mountains and packed in tropical green colors Plus a 12-mile beach.

8. El Valle, a mountain town with incredible views, a butterfly farm and waterfalls

9. The rainforest from Rambla to David

10. Trail around the Baru volcano

11. Portobelo (el Ňiňo) - Beautiful stories and stoned place, supervised by black Jesus
